Educational visits and fieldwork are important teaching methods in the Undergraduate Studies Program of the Department of Geography, combining theory and practice in Geography. The combination of office work with fieldwork promotes a comprehensive understanding and application of geographical theories and methods, allowing students to develop observation, data collection and analytical skills. These activities, provide students with practical experience, deepen their knowledge and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills, enhancing their educational path in the science of Geography.
